The ABF Memory Lane
Aaron Barnett was a man that changed the lives of so many deserving students with his guidance, support, inspiration, and grit. Those who loved him were compelled to make sure his unique spirit and dedication to youth would never be forgotten. That was the impetus to forge the Aaron Barnett Foundation. Other unique and loved individuals have also made a tremendous difference in the lives of families, friends, mentors, and educators. With heart and reverence, we announce the ABF Memory Lane, an online personal donation platform, where all of us can pay tribute to those that have touched and deepened our lives with their unique gifts and heart. Your donations will benefit Southern California youth who are so deserving of your generous support in the pursuit of higher education in cyber security. Our Memory Lane Platform has been set up online at the Aaron Barnett Foundation website for your convenience. Aaron was loved far and wide. The honoring of his life is our work. Please allow us to honor those that have made a difference in your world as well.
ABF MEMORY LANE DONATION CRITERIA
Participation in the ABF Memory Lane annual donation program provides the opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one by contributing to the successful development of young people in the field of cybersecurity. Higher donation levels allow you to support more scholars with incentives that will help them to achieve. All donations provide the following benefits -
- Your loved one’s name and picture along with your dedication of up to 300 words will be listed on the ABF Memory Lane page of our website.
- We will make social media posts that direct people to the ABF Memory Lane page where individuals can read about their loved ones among others who are being remembered.
- We will include your loved one’s picture and name along with your name in a slide show at our annual awards ceremony.
- 20% of your donation will be directed to the ABF Scholarship Fund to aid in sustaining this important scholarship program.
- 80% of your donation will be directed to support special incentives for our scholars in the name of your loved one. See below for examples of the kinds of special incentives that will be awarded at each donation level. Actual special incentives awarded each year will depend on the identified needs of our scholars, special programs in place at ABF in the scholarship year, and the availability of various incentives.
- Your sponsorship of special incentives will be highlighted in social media posts in remembrance of your loved one and to encourage others to follow your lead in supporting our work together helping young people to succeed.
