Brian is currently a first year student at the University of California Irvine. He is an avid anime fan with his favorite shows being Your Lie in April and Saga of Tanya the Evil. Currently he is contemplating a career either in medicine or technology. His interest in Cybersecurity can be accredited to his dad who introduced him to Capture-The-Flags(CTFs). He found CTFs challenging but fun and soon started the Cybersecurity Club at his high school. He would like to thank all the club members who made the club a success, and the team mates he competed with at competitions like Socal Cyber Cup, Cyberpatriot, and National Cyber League. For anyone looking to start learning about Cybersecurity, Brian suggests that they do a CTF, which are fun ways to experience the problem solving and learning that makes Cybersecurity fun. Brian would also like to thank the Aaron Barnett Foundation for recognizing his achievements and helping him with his higher education goals. Brian appreciates all the resources that the foundation provides in financial aid, internships, and networking. Brian looks forward to working more with the foundation and helping other students see how much fun Cybersecurity is.
