Aaron Barnett took David Cumbow under his wing when David was 17 years old and still in high school. Overriding Teachers Assistance classes for David to work with the IT professional at Moreno Valley High School, David learned from his teenage years what it took to work in an enterprise-level IT/S department.

Working with Aaron for 11 of his 13 years of experience, Aaron guided David in much of his knowledge of security, networking, databases, directory systems, storage, endpoints, and much more.

Together, Aaron and David started presentations to the Work Experience students within Moreno Valley Unified School District to encourage them to pursue careers in cybersecurity and IT/S. Aaron also introduced David to cybersecurity, where they shared the same passion for the field. David continues to this day to share his passion for IT and cybersecurity to his peer groups, early-in-career professionals, and most importantly to young adults looking for guidance on where to go next.
